Brief of Program:
Smt. S. R. Mehta Arts College of the Navgujarat Campus successfully organized a two-day workshop under the Innovation Club, aimed at promoting scientific temperament and hands- on learning among students.
The workshop was conducted by expert trainer Mr. Jeet Parihar, who trained 75 students through interactive sessions and live demonstrations. During the workshop, Mr. Parihar explained the working principles and practical applications of various innovative kits in a simple and student-friendly manner.
The sessions included demonstrations of a flying drone, microscope, solar panel, rain detection sensor, sound detection sensor, automatic door opening system using an ultrasonic sensor and servo motor, and home automation systems. Special emphasis was given to home automation using the ESP8266 microcontroller board, which was configured with RemoteXY software kits. The clear explanations and live demonstrations helped students understand modern technologies and their real-life applications.
The programme was organized with the active cooperation and support of the Principal of the college, Dr. Darsha Jani, and the Coordinator of the Innovation Club, Dr. Shobhana Nair, whose guidance contributed significantly to the successful execution of the workshop.
Overall, the two-day workshop proved to be a great learning experience for the students, encouraging innovation, creativity, and technological awareness. The college expressed its gratitude to the expert trainer and the Innovation Club for making the programme meaningful and successful.
