Brief of Program:
As part of the NSS initiative of Smt SR Mehta Arts College, the Principal of the college, Dr. Darsha Jani, along with NSS Programme Officers Dr. Nayana Chudasama and Dr. Tejani Munshi, accompanied by enthusiastic NSS volunteers, visited Laxmidham Vridhashram, home to more than 20 senior citizens.
The residents of the old age home were served a wholesome meal, sponsored by the NSS Department of the college. The volunteers personally served the food, interacted warmly with the elderly, and sought their blessings.
On this occasion, the volunteers also took an oath never to send their own grandparents to an old age home in the future, thereby reaffirming the values of compassion, respect, and family bonding.
